Are you passionate about driving e-commerce growth and shaping the future of online retail? Arla Foods Kuwait is seeking an experienced E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an E-Commerce Specialist, you will play a key role in developing and executing our e-commerce market strategy, driving forward our e-commerce capabilities, and establishing strong relationships with our e-commerce customers.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include monitoring e-commerce trends and initiating market initiatives to capitalize on new opportunities. Additionally, you will support e-commerce delivery against short, medium, and long-term cross-functional goals, ensuring buy-in and alignment across all functions, including supply chain and logistics.

  • Drive e-commerce capabilities and e-retail growth in the designated market, collaborating with the Head of Sales/Sales Leadership to set objectives and targets.
  • Develop and execute the e-commerce market strategy, aligning it with the European e-commerce strategy and market sales strategy.
  • Establish strong relationships and secure e-commerce commercial agreements with customers, aligned with overarching customer agreements and ensure plan delivery through customer teams.
  • Establish and reinforce ways of working with e-commerce in the designated market, including processes across commercial and the wider business.
  • Lead market e-commerce projects, ensuring relevant investments and implementation across the business.
  • Support the delivery of key e-commerce priorities and requirements for channel-ready production/logistics, using inputs from retail and industry sources.
  • Align with Zone/Global functions and contribute to the effective launch of initiatives according to plan and targets.

How Are You

Your track record reflects experience within Kuwait in e-commerce within an FMCG environment. You have strong business acumen and exceptional drive, and you are willing to go the extra mile to deliver results. You are adept at developing strategic relationships with customers, translating them into growth-driving JBPs.

Your strong analytical abilities enable you to interpret and commercialize category and shopper insights, and you can demonstrate the delivery of initiatives that have resulted in brand and/or category growth. You must have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, with the skills to collaborate and lead within a matrix team. Among colleagues you are characterized as a great communicator, a decision-maker with personal impact and a good deal of resilience, and excellent planning and organizing skills

  • Have a digital mindset and get energized by working with data and reports
  • Are fluent in English, both in written and verbal communication. Arabic is a big advantage.
  • Have 2-3 years of experience in FMCG, retail, customers or similar
