Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area for a Purchasing Officer in the Food & Beverage sector. The Purchasing Officer will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, handling purchase orders and requisitions, negotiating contracts with suppliers, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods. Day-to-day tasks will include analyzing purchasing data, maintaining supplier relationships, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and standards.
Qualifications
- Experience in Purchasing Processes, Purchase Orders, and Purchase Requisitions
- Skills in Contract Negotiation and Supplier Relationship Management
- Strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
- Familiarity with the food and beverage industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
