NBK Wealth is recruiting for a Senior Fund Administrator for its Fund Administration team in Kuwait.

Role Summary:

Service unitholders, investment managers and investment funds managed in-house and third-party funds. Ensure clients have up-to-date information on their fund's investment performance and that the funds comply with all necessary legal/regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day activities of Fund Administration. Act as process owner for the preparation and channeling of funds' financial reports, tax reporting and official publications of funds' data.
  • Maintain shareholder register and investor files in parallel with custodian to ensure proper update of shareholder register and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute shareholder statements and investment manager reports by email to correspondent relationship officers to comply with regulatory and client requirements.
  • Distribute interim and end-of-year financial reports to shareholders in compliance with regulatory requirement.
  • Ensure proper client onboarding and the maintenance of client due diligence requirements throughout the term of his/her investment with the firm. Maintain updated records on CRM.
  • Updating portfolio position, reconciliation of cash and custody holdings.
  • Portfolio performance computation and preparation of periodic reports.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in finance, accounting, business administration, management.
  • 5 – 6 years' experience in financial services industry.
  • Good understanding of financial affairs and awareness of trends and current activity in the financial market.
  • Numerate and analytical; capable of evaluating financial information.
  • Accurate with great attention to details.
  • Ability to liaise effectively with clients.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for writing reports.
  • Organized and deadline-efficient.
  • Good command on MS Excel and Word. Knowledge of APX, Bloomberg, Zawya, Reuters etc.
  • Fluent English. Arabic is a plus.
