We are looking for a Senior level Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) – Cross Solution, who is passionate about the need for People & Process to enable our customers' AI transformation on the Microsoft Cloud. You will lead a team of CSAs leveraging Microsoft Cloud and professional subject matter expertise helping customers achieve business value from their Microsoft investments by focusing on areas such as governance, operations, adoption, Copilot, AI, FinOps, and more. This role is flexible in that you can work from home with up to 50% customer travel.
This is a senior role is to manage the azure consumption across all the different projects of the government. The candidate should have the ability to forecast and plan the weekly/monthly growth of azure as well as manage the cloud consumption pipeline. The candidate will act as the Technical reference point for the different architects working on the different projects. And should demonstrate the Ability to guide and provide feedback on consumption projects. Should have the Ability to guide different customers on the best migration approach and act as the trusted advisor for the different projects.
Responsibilities
- You will drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor and provide feedback & insights from customers/partners as you develop and expand existing impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level Technical Decision Makers (TDMs) and business stakeholders.
- You will provide direction to TDMs and build the bridge between TDMs and Business Decision Makers (BDMs).
- You will develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results and help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments.
- You will identify resolutions to Customer blockers by leveraging Microsoft Cloud and professional subject matter expertise. Deliver according to Microsoft Cloud and industry best practices and using repeatable Intellectual Property (IP).
- You will identify and evaluate industry trends (customer industry verticals, information technology [IT] industry), gather customer/partner insights (e.g., feedback around customer preferences, environments, business needs, competitive landscape), and map organizational best practices and digital transformation solutions to customer/partner business outcomes.
- You will align individual skilling to team/area demands & Customer Success goals as you accelerate customer outcomes, share expertise in relevant communities, contribute to IP creation & re-use to accelerate customer outcomes and connect gaps and patterns across business and technology areas and drive changes and improvements to existing Intellectual Property (IP), technologies, and/or processes that enable solutions to scale across customers/partners as you drive consumption acceleration, as well as IP reuse and best practice sharing.
Required Qualifications (RQs)
- 4+ years experience in managing cloud / consumption projects.
- 10+ years in the field of IT (project management, software development, change and adoption management or related work).
- Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- OR equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting.
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
- 4+ years experience working on technical Cloud projects.
