Our client, a respected financial institution in Kuwait, is seeking a driven and experienced professional to lead the establishment of a new Wealth Management Department. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to step into a leadership role, build a department from the ground up, and contribute to the long-term strategic vision of the firm.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in investment placement, an existing network of high-net-worth or institutional clients, and a proven ability to market and place investment products. This role requires a strategic mindset, client relationship expertise, and a solid understanding of the local investment landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and placement strategy for new investment products.
  • Identify and engage qualified investors to meet fundraising targets.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, providing regular updates and performance insights.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and align offerings accordingly.
  • Support the investment process from initial engagement through onboarding.
  • Maintain an updated investor database segmented by risk appetite and investment preferences.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure regulatory standards are met.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in investment placement, with at least 2 years in an investment bank or investment company in Kuwait.
  • Proven success in securing and managing high-net-worth or institutional investor relationships.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Solid understanding of investment products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
