Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  2. Oversee and ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts and perform month-end and year-end closings.
  3. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and documentation.
  4. Analyze financial performance and prepare forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses.
  5. Develop and implement improved accounting processes and internal controls.
  6. Supervise junior accounting staff and provide guidance and mentorship.
  7. Handle payroll processing and statutory reporting.
  8. Manage and maintain inventory accounting accuracy, requiring extensive experience.
  9. Collaborate with various departments to support financial decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (CPA or CMA designation preferred).
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in Zero accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Preferably with knowledge of the salon and spa industry.
  • Preferably an Arabic speaker with excellent English proficiency.
