Purpose: Under general supervision, oversees the day-to-day execution of the supply program and Supply Section personnel under this effort. This position is responsible for monitoring the receipt, storage, research, disposition, inventories, and accountability of set equipment. Supervises the daily operation of the section and develops performance standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and/or revise appropriate standard operating procedures, flow charts, and work instructions that meet mission requirements.
  2. Supervises daily operation for the section. Mentors and conducts counseling as required.
  3. Oversees the daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports submissions as required by the department.
  4. Develops slide briefings and conducts briefing to senior leadership as required.
  5. Ensures tasks are executed in order to meet mission deadlines.
  6. Ensures equipment is accounted for, configured, and properly stored.
  7. Acts as the primary communication link between the section and the SOC, to ensure efficient execution of Taskers and/or missions.
  8. Coordinates, tracks progress, validates, and synchronizes efforts with other departments to ensure completion of tasks for all missions assigned to the section.
  9. Troubleshoots, coordinates problem resolution, or recommends solutions to management.
  10. Ensures Performance Work Statement requirements and company goals are met.
  11. Ensure strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures. Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
  12. Adhere to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
  13. Duties are dependent on department/section.
  14. Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
  2. Associate degree or higher preferred.
  3. AMMO 62, 67 or 43 preferred.

Experience:

  1. 7 years' supervisor experience in supply or related activities required.
  2. 2 years' experience Army Prepositioned Stocks Program or similar program preferred.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  1. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the applicable supply and equipment management processes, related regulations and is required to ensure effective accountability of all assigned property.
  2. Thorough knowledge of analytical techniques and causative research skills to identify areas of needed emphasis to recommend improvements.
  3. Must be detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  4. Possess the ability to multitask.
  5. Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
  6. Must possess the ability to plan, organize, supervise and delegate job assignments to personnel assigned in order to meet deadlines.
  7. Knowledge of AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2, AR735-5, Army Supply documentation, and other applicable regulations.
  8. Must possess working knowledge of GCSS-Army or other approved automated property accountability systems.
  9. Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word highly preferred.

Certification, License & Clearance:

  1. Driver's license required.
  2. Ability to obtain SAAR approval for NIPR access required.
  3. GCSS-Army certification required.
  4. Tier 3 Secret clearance required.
  5. U.S. Citizenship required.

Active Clearance is required: Must have an active Tier 3 Secret U.S. Government clearance.

Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Tier 3 Secret clearance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands & Mental Demands:

  1. Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
  2. Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  3. Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  4. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
