About the opportunity

We're looking for a Specialist Marketing to join our local Marketing Team and work closely with the Sr. Marketing Manager to grow Talabat Kuwait Partnerships.

What's On Your Plate?

  • Assist in managing local advertising, promotional campaigns, and event management as per the department quarterly plan, brand guidelines, and budget.
  • Ensure Talabat is well positioned as a brand in the local market and reaching the right audience to optimize market share.
  • Facilitate campaign requirements requested by the Marketing Manager with the local Sales team, ensuring content, offers, and details are clearly briefed.

Social Media:

  • Organize a 3-month calendar, updated daily.
  • Own social media and content generation.
  • Create influencer plans (minimum 1 per month) and brand ambassador collaborations (minimum 2 per month).
  • Monitor Talabat platforms and competitor platforms daily.
  • Focus on brand awareness, customer acquisition, and order frequency in social media activities.
  • Identify new social media trends relevant to the brand and local market.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and comments on all social media platforms within 3 hours.

Events:

  • Assist with on-ground activations, supervise marketing materials and promoters for optimal brand exposure.
  • Stay updated on latest trends and evaluate potential impactful presence for Talabat at events.

Payments:

  • Handle PO raising, invoice and quotation management from vendors, and ensure orderly payments in coordination with the Finance Department.
  • Organize payment files for the Marketing Department.
What you need to be successful
  • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field, with at least two years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in FMCG or retail sectors is highly desirable.
