stc Kuwait is actively recruiting for the role of Sr. Specialist - Technology Procurement. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the technology sourcing activities and assist the business units achieving their goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Performing operational functions relating to the sourcing process, including vendor prequalification, reviewof specifications, vendor selection, review of documents related to assigned procurement actions, participatein meetings with suppliers and follow-up with them.
  • Assisting technology sourcing events including RFx, benchmarking, sole supplier interactions, and complextechnology contract negotiations along with contracting team for Telecom, Cybersecurity, Fixed Technologyand IT projects.
  • Gathering and challenging clear requirements and demands as needed to align with market best practices through industry/market/vendor insights.
  • Executing effective and aligned sourcing and negotiation strategies, leading cross-functional teams of varying levels of seniority.
  • Leading vendor communication as single point of contact for the company to ensure best leverage and clarity both internally and externally.
  • Managing end to end sourcing process and contract negotiations against timelines, exhibiting the judgement necessary to balance speed, cost, and quality.
  • Ensuring supplier due diligence and performance monitoring is being performed correctly.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in technology procurement.
