Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Household Manager at a private household in the Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The Household Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the household, managing staff, maintaining the estate, coordinating events and activities, and ensuring the smooth running of all household functions. The role includes supervising housekeeping, maintenance, and security, as well as managing budgets, inventories, and schedules. Additionally, the Household Manager will liaise with external service providers, plan travel arrangements, and provide personalized services to the family to meet their preferences and needs.

Job Description:

Luxury Recruit has been exclusively retained by a VIP and UHNW prominent family in Kuwait to appoint a highly experienced Household Manager. This is a live-in role responsible for overseeing all aspects of daily operations across multiple residences for the principal and extended family members.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional currently based in Kuwait or the GCC, fluent in English, with Filipino/Tagalog language skills highly preferred due to team communication requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall operation and day-to-day running of the household(s)
• Lead and supervise a team of up to 16 direct reports, including:
• Private Chefs
• Nannies
• Housekeepers
• Drivers/Chauffeurs
• General Household Staff
• Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain a 5-star level of cleanliness, service, and hospitality
• Schedule and coordinate staff shifts, rotas, holidays, and performance reviews
• Handle household budgeting, inventory, procurement, and vendor management
• Organise and oversee formal/informal events, family travel logistics, and guest service
• Ensure security measures are followed in collaboration with security personnel
• Maintain confidentiality and act as the main point of contact for all household matters

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in a similar Household Manager or Chief of Staff role
• Proven background working for prominent families, royal households, or UHNW individuals in the GCC
• Strong team leadership and staff management skills
• Exceptional organisational, multitasking, and communication skills
• Fluent in English; Filipino/Tagalog fluency strongly preferred
• Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
• Culturally sensitive, with a deep understanding of Middle Eastern customs
• Willing to live on-site and work flexible hours
