Overview

This position is physically located in Kuwait in support of LOGCAP.

Job Description

The successful candidate should have experience in data-analytics algorithm development, strong communication skills, and skills in both front-end web and back-end engine development. Responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining, and supporting in-house web applications, intranet and internet webpages, and SharePoint sites, including the development of SharePoint-based applications. Proficiency with XML and understanding of Rules Management in Maximo are required, along with skills in inbound and outbound integration processing, XML Schemas, and XML Web services.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop using C#/Python/HTML/CSS/JavaScript and associated frameworks, databases, and backend technologies.
  2. Create standard and nonstandard analytics, including statistical, graph analytics, machine learning, and deep learning.
  3. Collaborate with the team to understand and refine solutions, including UI and backend development.
  4. Participate in all phases of product development from concept to launch.
  5. Collaborate with team members and develop documentation.
  6. Provide technical support and assistance as needed.
  7. Maintain software modules for web, database, and collaboration applications.
  8. Ensure adherence to software development standards and procedures.
  9. Assist in defining requirements, recommending, and implementing solutions.
  10. Resolve software problems and discrepancies.
  11. Guide project teams in software engineering technologies.
  12. Investigate methods to improve software quality and productivity.
  13. Develop and manage intranet and internet web pages.
  14. Create and publish content on local intranet/SharePoint sites.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. IT certifications are desirable.
  • Must be a US National.
  • Valid Home Country Driver's License and ability to obtain Host Country Driver's License.
  • Active Security Clearance, with the ability to maintain it.
  • Proficiency in testing frameworks and writing tests.
  • Proficiency with development tools such as Git and DevOps.
  • High proficiency in English communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office Suite.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing and maintaining web servers in a Microsoft environment, including SharePoint.
  • 1-3 years of development experience with VB, Java, .NET, or similar tools.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
  • Extended periods in a computer room environment.
  • Sedentary work involving lifting up to 10 pounds occasionally.
