As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join our expanding operations team in Sulaibiya.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer who will oversee the planning, execution, and maintenance of all civil works and construction projects within the company premises. This role is crucial for supporting the ongoing development of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage civil construction, renovation, and maintenance projects within the factory and surrounding facilities.
2. Prepare detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines.
3. Conduct site inspections and surveys to ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality specifications.
4. Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
5. Supervise and monitor subcontractors and construction teams to ensure high-quality workmanship.
6. Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
7. Provide regular progress reports to the management team.
8. Review and approve technical drawings, structural designs, and material specifications.
9. Assist in facilities planning and development for future expansion projects.
10. Recommend cost-effective solutions and innovations in construction techniques and materials.
11. Handle repair and preventive maintenance of civil structures, including flooring, drainage systems, roads, and building exteriors.
12. Prepare and manage budgets for civil engineering projects, including acquiring and evaluating quotations from contractors.
13. Draft and manage formal correspondence with the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy, Kuwait Municipality, Kuwaiti Fire Force, and other relevant government entities.
14. Liaise with internal contracts and receiving departments for effective coordination of civil works.
15. Prepare documentation, letters, and reports in both English and Arabic.
16. Apply cost-cutting strategies and efficient planning to reduce operational expenditure without compromising quality.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree is a plus).
2. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
3. Previous experience in the dairy or food manufacturing industry is a strong advantage.
4. Strong knowledge of Kuwait building codes, construction safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
5. Demonstrated experience in corresponding with and handling documentation for the Ministry of Electricity and Water and Renewable Energy, Kuwaiti Fire Force, Kuwait Municipality, and other government entities.
6. Experience with liaising between engineering departments and contracts/receiving departments.
7. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required.
8. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other design and planning software.
9. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
10. Ability to work independently, multitask, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
11. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
12. Strong familiarity with the Kuwaiti market and contractor landscape.
13. Ability to plan budgets, solicit quotations, and analyze contractor proposals.
14. Proven knowledge of cost-reduction and efficiency improvement strategies.
