Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Regional Sales Director for our Systems and Software Business is responsible for driving order growth and increasing market share with end-users in the North Region (Qatar, Kuwait & Iraq). This role involves leading the sales and proposal teams, and developing strategies in collaboration with the BU MEA and Global organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage, build, and develop direct sales reports to deliver profitable growth.
  2. Analyze the regional market and develop monthly and yearly forecasts to meet or exceed commitments.
  3. Implement initiatives to increase market share and diversify industries served.
  4. Profile major accounts and focus the sales team to achieve additional growth.
  5. Meet or exceed financial objectives aligned with the business plan.
  6. Develop long-term relationships with senior management of customer accounts.
  7. Collaborate with the wider Emerson group and regional sales teams to enhance content and support.
  8. Increase revenue and profit from existing installed base by promoting solutions.
  9. Coordinate with proposal teams to ensure offers meet customer needs and are submitted timely.
  10. Enhance customer satisfaction by providing tailored solutions.
  11. Work proactively with the Project Pursuit Team and Key Account Managers to pursue control system projects.
  12. Capture customer business drivers and incorporate them into proposals.

  • Decisive with a strong sense of ownership.

Requirements:

  • 12-15 years of sales and management experience in the Middle East within process control systems and software.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; engineering degree preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (spoken and written).
  • Proven ability to drive business growth.
  • Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
  • Understanding of regional cultural and business norms.
