The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer with 20+ years of experience to lead and manage the commissioning activities of a wastewater treatment plant project in Kuwait.
The successful candidate will ensure that all mechanical, electrical, and process systems are tested, commissioned, and handed over in compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for wastewater treatment plant systems and equipment.
- Ensure all pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up processes are conducted efficiently and safely.
- Lead system performance testing, troubleshooting, and optimization in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Review design documents, technical specifications, and operational procedures to verify compliance before commissioning.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including design engineers, contractors, and client representatives, to ensure a smooth transition from construction to operation.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to resolve commissioning-related challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (or a related discipline).
- 10+ years of experience in commissioning, testing, and startup of infrastructure or wastewater treatment plant projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and process control systems in wastewater treatment facilities.
- Experience in leading commissioning teams and coordinating with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
