Qa/qc Lead

- Maintain and make available to the shop, all QA and Engineering documentation, which is distributed either in hard copy or electronically.
- Liaise with Product Centers to establish and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS, similar to the latest ISO Standard).
- Conduct or coordinate internal audits and corrective action required to assure that all processes in the Manufacturing Facility meet the requirements of the company\xe2\x80\x99s Engineering and the Quality Management System. These processes include flow of paperwork, repair, assembly, testing, and shipment to customers.
- Provide Quality support for dismantle inspection of equipment returned from the field for dismantle or repair.
- Conduct failure analysis of dismantled equipment and recommend corrective action to extend run life. This includes preparation and presentation of customer reports and trending of failures.
- Conduct and supervise the QA/QC team during the inspection of new and salvaged components in accordance with the Quality Management System and Repair Standards.
- Conduct and supervise QA/QC team during the testing of finished assemblies to assure that they meet the Engineering requirements.
- Conduct or coordinate calibration of all measuring instruments, including electrical, mechanical and hydraulic instruments.
- Host customer representatives as required, during any stage of the Manufacturing Facility processes.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of problems that arise concerning quality or performance of the product within the shop or in service.
- Document and investigate all customer feedback and coordinate corrective action.
- Ensure all Engineering Documents and test data are properly updated and securely kept.
- Ensure only the latest released versions of Engineering Documents are utilized.
- Participate in QMS activities. Ensure the QMS objectives are met.
- Identify opportunities and implement continuous improvement plans and actions to continually reduce waste, decrease cycle time, and increase throughput.
- Other tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as dictated by business needs and as assigned by management. HSEQ
- Follow established job safety analyses (JSAs), HARCs, risk prevention and mitigation measures.
- Follow established systems, procedures, and processes, including, but not limited to, Quality Management System (QMS), Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI\xe2\x80\x99s) and Artificial Lift Field Operations Manual.
- Remain current on Minimum and Job Related HSE training.
- Maintain personal HSE Handbook as specified by standard.
- Comply with all company\xe2\x80\x99s and district policies and standards.
- Participate in all required QMS & HSE training.
- Shut down any operation and contact supervisor for any operation deemed too hazardous to proceed.
- Stop any process and control further processing, delivery, or installation of non-conforming product until the deficiency has been corrected.
- Report hazardous situations, incidents, and non-conformances as per relevant company standards.
- Train and mentor other employees as requested by management.
- Degree in a related engineering discipline. Preferably Mechanical, Petroleum or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with establishment, development, and management of quality systems, such as ISO or API. QA/QC Management.
- Artificial Lift experience with ESP\xe2\x80\x99s (electrical submersible pumps) Dismantle, Inspection and Failure/Root cause Analysis (DIFA) is a must.
- 10 years of experience in the ART Facility / Manufacturing facility, including minimum 4 years managing a team of Technicians. Work experience in the field of Assembly/Test/Repair of Workshops.
- Intermediate-high level (B2) of English is a must.
- Related experience with pumps, oilfield, or rotating equipment is desirable, but not mandatory.
- Soft skills such as communication, listening, organizational and interpersonal skills are also essentials for this role.
