Ramp Dispatcher

Jazeera Airways is looking for experienced Ramp Dispatcher who would serve as the shift lead for ramp operations, responsible for the allocation and supervision of Loading Supervisors, ramp teams, and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) to ensure the safe, efficient, and timely handling of all aircraft movements. This role coordinates all ramp resources in real time, manages GSE utilization, and ensures strict adherence to operational and safety standards. The Ramp Dispatcher acts as the logistics controller for all ramp activities during the shift.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Oversee and manage all ramp operations during the shift, ensuring safe and efficient handling of arriving and departing aircraft.
• Prepare and publish shift-wise allocations of Loading Supervisors, equipment operators, and ramp staff in line with the flight schedule.
• Monitor flight movements in real time and reassign or rotate resources dynamically to accommodate delays, IROPs, or late arrivals.
• Ensure all assigned Loading Supervisors are positioned at their aircraft prior to arrival and perform their duties as per operational standards.
• Supervise Loading Supervisors to ensure compliance with all safety, loading, and communication procedures during turnaround.
• Monitor and control GSE allocation and movement throughout the shift to ensure effective utilization and timely delivery to flights.
• Act as the logistics controller for ramp operations, ensuring proper distribution of manpower and equipment to meet operational demands.
• Ensure all required operational documents such as LDM, LIR, and load-related forms are prepared and delivered to flights by the assigned Loading Supervisor.
• Perform real-time oversight of ramp safety zones, ensuring safe aircraft handling, equipment parking, and FOD-free environments.
• Coordinate closely with the Weight & Balance Dispatcher, Turnaround Coordinators, and other operational teams to maintain on-time performance (OTP).
• Report and record any operational delays, non-conformances, or incidents and assist in investigations where required.
• Ensure compliance with Jazeera Airways SOPs, IATA AHM/IGOM standards, and Kuwait DGCA regulations.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years' experience in ramp or ground handling operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or coordination role.
• Strong understanding of ramp operations, aircraft servicing, and GSE utilization.
• Experience managing manpower allocation and shift-based resource planning in an airport or airline environment.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and decision-making skills in time-critical situations.
• Knowledge of IATA AHM, IGOM, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Certifications in Ramp Safety, Human Factors, Airside Driving, and Dangerous Goods Regulations preferred.
