We are looking for a skilled and passionate Barista to join our team at koobs cafe. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast -paced environment. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, maintaining the cleanliness of the cafe, and providing an exceptional customer experience. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and serve high -quality coffee and espresso -based beverages according to cafe standards.Grind, brew, and extract coffee using various brewing methods (e.g., espresso machine, pour -over, French press).Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar and seating areas.Engage with customers, answer their questions, and make recommendations based on their preferences.Operate and maintain coffee equipment, ensuring it is in good working condition.Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking coffee beans, milk, syrup, and other supplies.Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation guidelines.Assist in training new baristas and providing ongoing support to team members.Handle cash transactions, operate the POS system, and balance the cash register at the end of the shift.Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment. RequirementsPrevious experience as a barista or in a similar role is preferred.Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Detail -oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality.Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.Flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 50 lbs).
