Who Are We Looking For? 

We are seeking a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join our engineering team.

Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure and will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Design:

• Design and implement Azure-based infrastructure solutions, including virtual networks, virtual machines, storage accounts, and Azure Active Directory.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates and Terraform.

Deployment & Management:

• Deploy and manage Azure resources such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure LB, Azure AppGW, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate the deployment and management of cloud applications.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and cost, optimizing resources to ensure efficient operation.

Security & Compliance:

• Implement and manage Azure security controls, including Azure Security Center, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Policy.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations by configuring Azure governance and security features.
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Automation & Optimization:

• Automate cloud management tasks using Azure PowerShell, CLI, or other scripting tools.
• Optimize cloud costs by implementing resource tagging, scaling strategies, and cost management tools.
• Implement monitoring and logging solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to ensure high availability and performance.

Support & Troubleshooting:

• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Azure-related incidents and service requests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure, including network connectivity, resource provisioning, and application performance.
• Work closely with development teams to support the deployment and operation of cloud-native applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud solutions.
• Experience with Azure services such as Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, and Azure SQL Database).
• Proven experience in implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, and Terraform.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
• Other relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.

Skills

• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including virtualization, networking, and storage in Azure.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline development and management.
• Knowledge of security best practices in Azure, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Adaptability to rapidly changing technology landscapes.
