Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:

Hands on experience in Electrical Design Works in Oil and Gas, Chemical and petro chemical industry. Working Knowledge in Auto CAD, ETAP (Load Flow, Short circuit, relay coordination & motor acceleration study with training certificate issued by ETAP is an added advantage), illumination calculation by (Relux, Thorlux, Dialux ) software and ESCADA is an added advantage. In depth knowledge in Cable sizing, Equipment sizing, Earthing & Lightning protection calculation is essential. Awareness on international Standards like IEC,IEEE is required. Smart Plant Electrical experience is mandatory.

Role & responsibilities

  • Designers with 8-10 Years of experience with a good knowledge to Develop the electrical design criteria, design basis and specifications.
  • Electrical calculations like Lighting, Earthing & Lightning protection, cable sizing, panel Sizing, illumination calculation, Cable tray sizing, Transformer sizing, Breaker sizing, UPS sizing, etc.
  • Develop the Bulk Material MTO, Cable Block diagram and Interconnection diagrams
  • Review of major electrical design deliverables 3D Modelling review, Power Layout, Grounding Layouts, Lighting Layouts and Installation details as when required
  • Ensures electrical systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards with uncompromised quality.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines. Review and approve the vendor documentation.
  • Working Knowledge in ETAP (Load Flow, Short circuit, relay coordination & motor acceleration study with training certificate issued by ETAP is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Auto-CAD, Dialux / Relux, E-Tap, ESCADA, Smart Plant Electrical, MS-Word and Excel is required.
