Senior Accountant

Role and Responsibilities

Performing duties in a candid and confidential manner whilst maintaining school and clientele accounts.

• Preparing payroll
• Preparing reimbursements
• Preparing and posting journal vouchers
• Preparing depreciation and other year closing transactions
• Reconciling invoices with school orders
• Reconciling bank statements with posted accounts
• Overseeing the status of overseas creditors and orders
• Preparing accounting ledgers
• Providing cash reimbursements with cash payment vouchers
• Reconciling daily cash and checks
• Handling daily cash receiving and reconciliation forms
• Preparing all banking concerns
• Preparing correspondences as required
• Performing inventory audits
• Handling the annual audit, from correspondence and document preparation
• Accounting for several small businesses
• Improving control processes
• Performing all related duties as assigned

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree—Finance/Accounting/Related fields
• Twp Year's Related Experience or More

Preferred Skills

• English Fluent, Arabic Preferred
• Computer proficiency (Microsoft word, excel, etc)
• Preferably good with IT and numbers

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD KD per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Salmiya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
