Videographer & Photographer

The International University of Science & Technology in Kuwait (IUK) is a newly established private university in Kuwait, with a new Campus located in the heart of Kuwait near the Avenues Mall. Fully accredited by the Private Universities Council (PUC), the University offers a wide range of academic programs in Engineering, Business, and Arts and Social Sciences. In addition to the academic programs, the IUK has established the University Foundation Program (UFP) that offers English and Math foundation programs. 

IUK is seeking a highly motivated Videographer & Photographer. 

Position Summary:

The primary role of the Videographer & Photographer is to be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing high-quality visual content that aligns with the university's brand image. This role supports marketing and communication initiatives through creative storytelling, event coverage, and social media content creation.  

Responsibilities: 

• · Capturing high-quality photos and videos for university events, activities, and promotional campaigns.
  ·  Creating engaging short-form videos, reels, and stories for social media, aligned with the latest trends.·  Managing and organizing a digital media library, ensuring easy access to visual assets.·  Regularly researching social media trends and implementing creative techniques to enhance our social media presence.·  Maintaining and managing photography and videography equipment, ensuring they are in excellent condition.
• ·  Ensuring all visual content aligns with IUK's brand guidelines and quality standards.
• ·  Assisting in creating motion graphics and visual effects for video content.
• ·  Providing on-site support for event coverage, including multi-camera setups, live streaming, and rapid content turnaround.
• ·  Collaborating with the marketing team to develop creative visual concepts for campaigns, including storytelling videos, interviews, and highlight reels.
• ·  Editing videos using industry-standard software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects) to produce polished, professional content.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Digital Media, Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in videography, photography, and video editing, preferably in a corporate or educational environment.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, Lightroom).
• Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling techniques.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content optimization for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Ability to operate and maintain professional photography and videography equipment.
