Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial accounting function, ensuring the accurate preparation of financial reports and executing related activities.

This includes maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing financial processes. Additionally, the incumbent will define corporate and divisional policies, processes, and structures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor payments according to bank policies and prepare related accounting entries.
  • Prepare accounting entries for capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets; ensure proper posting.
  • Maintain and monitor the payment process, budgets, and expenditure proposals.
  • Review contracts to ensure compliance with expenditure policies.
  • Provide ad-hoc payment reports and expense reports for management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum 7 years in finance, preferably with CA/CPA/CMA certification. Experience in financial accounting roles within the banking sector.
  • Strong knowledge of systems, accounting management, banking processes, and internal controls.
