At Amentum, we are seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on structural modifications and repair of various aircraft types, including the UH-60, CH-47, and AH-64.

  • The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, as well as basic knowledge of electrical theory and aircraft unique tools.

  • They will also possess working knowledge of technical publications and Logistics Information Systems, and be able to prioritize workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projects.

  • A key aspect of this role is leading teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks and possessing the level of experience to inspect all required aeronautical type maintenance to be performed by Mechanics.

  • The incumbent will receive technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician and occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks.

  • We are looking for someone who can make entries in aircraft logs and records and has strong analytical skills.

  • Responsibilities will include maintaining and keeping track of all maintenance records, adhering to company policies and safety programs, and maintaining the supplies.

  • This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

  • Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience (UH-60, CH-47, AH-64) is Required.

  • All experience must be within the Five (5) most recent years.

  • U.S. military technical school or specialized training course is desired, certification of education level is required.

  • Experience With (FAA) A&P certificate: Two (2) years aviation maintenance experience, and Two (2) years' hands-on experience on the assigned aircraft MDS UH-60, CH-47, AH-64 is Required.

  • Experience Without (FAA) A&P certificate: Three (3) years aviation maintenance experience, Three (3) years rotary wing aircraft experience and Two (2) years on the assigned UH-60, CH-47, AH-64 Mission Design Series (MDS) is Required.

  • A valid U.S. Passport is Required for International travel. Passport must have a minimum 6 blank pages and 2 plus years validity before its expiration date at time of hire.

  • Must be able to pass CENTCOM medical requirements for Deployment (to attend CRC/DIDC Training).

  • Must be able to obtain Kuwait Visa.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain US Govt Security Clearance Public Trust (NAC-I T1). US Citizenship is required to obtain a Clearance and for facility access and credentials/authorization at the work location.
