We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Inspector to join our team at V2X. As an IT Infrastructure Inspector, you will be responsible for performing initial, in-progress, and final inspections of communication projects on military and contracting installations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and experience working with fiber optic and copper cable installation. You will work closely with supervisors, engineers, and operations teams to ensure that all site survey documentation is up-to-date and drawings are accurate.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform initial, in-progress, and final inspections of new infrastructure, current projects, and existing communication installations
  • Operate test equipment to quality inspect grounding
  • Work with supervisors, engineers, and operations teams on all projects
  • Ensure all site survey documentation is on file and drawings are updated for each project

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; Telecommunication Degree preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Technical Inspector
  • Knowledge of communication infrastructure and cabling systems
  • Familiarity with North American or International Telecommunications Standards - Building Industry Consulting Services International -Telecommunications Distribution Methods Manual (BICSI-TDMM), National Electrical Codes, and National Electrical Safety Codes, or their equivalent
