About the Job

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Inspection Team Lead to take on a new challenge. As part of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of inspectors and ensuring that facilities and equipment meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct inspection teams in performing inspections on facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective schedules and resource allocation plans to achieve company objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Public Works Operations Manager to ensure compliance with contractual, government, and safety regulations.
  • Provide support to the Facilities Maintenance Branches and Projects Teams.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage and prioritize tasks to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Perform quality control checks to ensure that work meets the required standards.
  • Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these issues.
  • Implement changes to improve processes and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience performing installation or maintenance services on building systems at the journeyman's or inspector's level.
  • 3 years of documented experience supervising others in various trade disciplines.
  • Possess technical skills to identify repair requirements as it pertains to building systems.
  • Able to lead others and provide adequate supervision and direction to accomplish organizational goals.
  • Expert knowledge of equipment manuals for servicing, operations, and repair of building systems.
  • Full knowledge of industry utilized tools and test equipment.
  • Proficient in all phases of paperwork as it pertains to servicing, maintenance, repairs, classification, etc.
  • Must be capable of working independently with little-or-no guidance.
  • Must be willing to adapt to rapidly-changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
