Job Description:This is a mid-senior level full-time position in the field of engineering and information technology, specifically within defense and space manufacturing. The primary focus of this role is to troubleshoot and repair cryptographic devices and other electronic equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair malfunctions in cryptographic devices and other electronic equipment, including receiver/transmitters, circuit cards, telecommunications devices, telephones, teletypes, intrusion detection systems, AOAP spectrometer, and similar items.
- Technical Advice: Provide technical guidance and assistance to junior technicians as needed.
- Quality Control: Ensure all repairs meet quality standards and adhere to environmental regulations.
- Maintenance: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on COMSEC systems, following density listings.
- Comprehensive Knowledge: Possess comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, and procedures related to the Logistics STAMIS.
- Effective Communication: Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Clearance: Must possess an active Tier 3 Secret U.S. Government clearance and be a U.S. citizen.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust and high temperatures, and lift up to 50lbs.
