  • The consultant will participate in or lead business blueprint workshops, analyzing business processes and defining project requirements.
  • Detailed documentation of the business blueprint report is essential.
  • The consultant must map customer requirements to SAP products and process flows, explaining SAP technology strategies to customers.
  • Effective communication of project scope, requirements, and issues is crucial.
  • The system landscape, transport system, and authorizations must be defined by the consultant.
  • Understanding SAP Best Practices and tool architecture is vital.
  • The consultant will activate SAP systems, ensure proper configuration, and transport legacy data.
  • Documentation of development and reporting requirements, as well as communication with respective teams, is necessary.
  • Functional unit, integration, and acceptance tests must be performed by the consultant.
  • Customizing reports, forms, and interfaces is also part of the job.
  • Critical information must be communicated to customers and team members, and change management activities throughout the project must be supported.
  • Successful training of end-users and key users is required.
  • The consultant will manage the cut-over process and monitor project progress and success.
  • Post-go-live support and resolving unexpected problems are also essential responsibilities.
  • Change management must be effectively managed.
  • The consultant will utilize ERM (EasyRedmine) for project management.

Requirements

  • Comfort with business processes and terminology is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, engaging with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Travel is a critical component of consulting work.
