Job Title: Cargo Coordinator

Overview:

The Client of JOBS-ME is seeking a skilled Cargo Coordinator to join their team. As a key member of the operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient discharge and loading of cargo.

Responsibilities:

  • Record weights, measurements, and dimensions of cargo.
  • Coordinate with vessel foremen regarding working holds and crane movement.
  • Ensure all vessel documents are correctly completed.
  • Maintain an activity log for crane movement and equipment assignments.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with shipping and logistics procedures.
