Responsibilities and Requirements:

This position is for a Support Equipment (SE) Technician to provide maintenance and calibration of the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) Support Equipment, in support of C-17 Field Services based at Al-Mubarak Air Base in Kuwait City.

The successful applicant will be responsible for coordinating C-17 SE maintenance requirements, planning, research, development, analysis, and retrofitting repair solutions that comply with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

Responsibilities include defining procedures, special tooling, kit requirements, work packages, and material requirements for accomplishing inspections, modifications, improvement changes, and repairs of delivered products.

The candidate will also assist in project development, planning, implementation, management, and technical support activities related to SE maintenance, modifications, calibration, proof load test, and repairs per established customer, regulatory, and company requirements.

Additionally, the candidate will review and recommend projects and proposals or aircraft Support Equipment modification.

A minimum of 5 years' experience working on aircraft support equipment and prior experience on US Air Force and/or Boeing maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment are required.
