Job Title: Cybersecurity Vulnerability Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Vulnerability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and report on system vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and monitor INFOCON status to ensure compliance with information assurance requirements.
  • Develop and implement plans for vulnerability scanning and remediation of Tier II network assets.
  • Provide training and support to customers on vulnerability scanning and remediation procedures.
  • Serve as HBSS administrator for SWACC and web developer for reporting tools.
  • Collaborate with subordinate elements to remediate identified vulnerabilities.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or MIS, IS, Engineering, or related field.
  • One-year related experience can be substituted for one year of education if the degree is required.
  • Certified Network Professional - Security (CCNP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least three years of practical experience working with various data technologies, with a minimum of two years focused on security.
  • Knowledge of certification tools and experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation software.
