Inspire Students' Love of Reading and Writing

As a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher, you will be responsible for guiding learners in building foundational literacy skills, nurturing a love of reading, and developing the communication tools they need to succeed academically and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a dynamic, standards-aligned ELA curriculum that enhances students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Create a classroom environment that values inquiry, creativity, and respectful dialogue through literature and writing.
  • Support students in analyzing texts, crafting arguments, and expressing themselves with clarity and confidence.
  • Provide timely, constructive feedback and differentiated support to meet diverse student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure holistic development and academic growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education with a major in English, Language Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a middle school ELA teacher or similar role.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
