Job Description
The Procurement Strategist will play a pivotal role in maintaining records of goods ordered and received. This involves locating vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies, and conducting thorough interviews to assess product availability and terms of sales. The ideal candidate will also prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
- Locate and interview vendors to determine product availability and terms of sales
- Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
- Control purchasing activities and oversee staff training
- Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy
- Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability
- Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures

Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A good command of English is essential, with Arabic fluency being desirable. Minimum requirements include 5-10 years of experience in procurement, along with a Bachelor's degree or diploma. Knowledge of the Kuwait Market and qualifications in the Food & Beverage industry are highly valued.
