Job Description:

Responsibilities

The senior fire safety specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fire safety within the organization. This includes developing and implementing fire protection programs, conducting fire inspections, and maintaining accountability of equipment.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in emergency response operations and incident command systems. They will direct and lead firefighters during firefighting operations, rescue missions, and other related emergencies.

Main Tasks:

  • Develop and implement fire protection programs that meet or exceed performance standards.
  • Conduct fire inspections and ensure facilities are safe.
  • Maintain a safe workplace by ensuring safety is the highest priority.
  • Comply with EHS requirements and QA goals.
  • Direct and lead firefighters during emergencies.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as fire science or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in an organized fire or emergency service department.
  • Proven leadership and management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
