As a leader in the audit team, you will be responsible for managing complex audit engagements and supporting the growth of the audit business. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our audit team in Kuwait. As an audit manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of clients and industries, developing your technical skills and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of audit engagements, defining the audit strategy and executing it in compliance with our policies and protocols.
  • Personally execute complex audit procedures and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements.
  • Assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements, including organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders.

Requirements:

  • Strong academic record, including a degree and accounting qualification, such as ACCA or CPA.
  • At least seven years of professional experience in external audit.
  • Thorough knowledge of current auditing techniques and experience managing teams.
  • Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Experience of risk-based audit process.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Understanding of currently applicable and upcoming IFRS.
  • Knowledge of use of audit tools and data analytic tools.
  • Coaching, mentoring and counselling experience.
  • Fluent English communication skills.
  • Effective presentation skills.
