Job Title: Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the construction and maintenance of plants, buildings, equipment, components, or systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and schedule work to meet agreed deadlines.
  • Attend regular meetings with clients, architects, and consultants to keep them informed of progress.
  • Supervise and monitor site labour forces through General Foremen and Supervisors, ensuring that subcontractors complete work to customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee quality control and safety matters on-site, adhering to regulations and company standards.
  • Resolve unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
  • Select and requisition materials for use in construction/maintenance, checking that they meet specifications.
  • Maintain and advise on technology and modifications required for simpler and cost-saving mechanisms.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for work completion and obtain client authorization after inspection.
  • Develop a relationship with the Project Engineer and prepare periodical reports on work progress.

Safety and Quality Responsibilities:

  • Maintain safety standards and comply with management system requirements.
  • Take reasonable care of own health and safety, as well as others in the workplace.
  • Follow and maintain management standards of Quality in accordance with the Company Quality System requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical discipline (as appropriate).
  • Knowledge of practical application.
  • Customer relationship skills.
  • Production and processing knowledge.
  • Administration and management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.

Minimum 4-8 years of experience in GCC Oil & Gas-related work.
