The Automation Systems Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Network and Software Development Teams.

Under the general direction of the Automated Support Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing local data processing and office automation functions and services.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and implement complex computer-based departmental information systems that operate in various environments, including standalone, LAN, and WAN.
  • Conduct systems, statistical, and quantitative analyses to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and consultation on control network integration, hardware selection, and system configuration.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and their applicability to current projects and future initiatives.
  • Develop documentation and training materials to support IT and Automation processes.
  • Promote collaboration between corporate and regional resources.
  • Document technical data descriptions, analyze program coding requirements, operator instructions, and organizational procedures.

Requirements:

  • Education: A college degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: IT-related certifications desirable.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of operation and development experience with Enterprise Applications.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Development experience with VB, Java, .NET or equivalent tools.
    • Experience developing and maintaining web servers in a Microsoft environment.
    • Knowledge of SharePoint, Visual Studio, SQL Server.
  • Personal Qualities:
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Ability to handle technical escalations and sensitive situations.
    • Maintain Secret Clearance.
