Aircraft Mechanic Job Overview

The Army Aviation AH-64 Aircraft Mechanic performs a range of tasks to maintain and repair military tactical aircraft. Their role involves troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions in various aircraft systems, including structure, landing gear, flight surfaces, and controls.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Removal and installation of aircraft subsystem assemblies and components such as engines, rotors, transmissions, mechanical flight controls, and their components.
