This is a critical role within our logistics team, responsible for handling various tasks related to shipping and clearing.

The Logistics Clerk will issue invoices, register and arrange parts orders, and prepare discrepancy reports. They will also be involved in arranging shipments, dealing with couriers and shipping agencies, and following up on clearance matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Handling shipping and clearing matters
  • Arranging parts invoices and keeping them up-to-date
  • Online parts orders tracking update
  • Assisting in preparing manual parts quotations and invoices
  • Checking terms and conditions for customer forward orders and payment terms
  • Preparing documents for branch transfer (incoming/outgoing parts)
  • Receiving oil samples from customers and dispatching them to laboratories for analysis
  • Making arrangements with warehouse staff for the delivery of parts to government agencies
  • Typing and filing documents and correspondence
  • FOLLOWING UP ON QUOTATIONS
  • Processing month-end documents and reports
  • Preparing claims for short or damaged items and raising insurance claims
  • Preparing documents for surplus parts return and their return to suppliers
  • Acting as a Workshop Liaison by processing shop orders and passing them on to warehouse staff for deliveries

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure with accuracy. The ideal candidate will have experience in parts operation and logistics, and be familiar with computer systems and banking terms.
