Job Title: Housekeeping Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our Housekeeping team as a Housekeeping Associate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain High Operating Standards: Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping and Laundry, as identified by hotel brand standards.
  • Monitor Team Performance: Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all Housekeeping and Laundry Team Members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
  • Provide Excellent Guest Service: Provide excellent guest service by actively working on availability and release of Rooms for Guest Service along with Floor Housekeeping Supervision.
  • Manage Department Controls: Manage the controls of the Housekeeping department, such as frequency of employees, release of master keys, book incident, input and output of uniform and linen, among others.
  • Ensure Guest Preferences: Responsible for checking daily the guest information in CRM and ensure that the preferences and requests are met on time.
  • Coordinate Documents and Traffic: Coordinate and control all traffic of documents and people within the department. Release linen of Laundry daily.
  • Perform Daily Tasks: Make daily guest clothing release for guests that use the laundry service. Make monthly closing of Laundry expenses and provision of the same. Replace Laundry Attendant in case of holidays, days off, or absences.
Requirements:
  • Planning and Organizing: Maintain planning and organizing skills to effectively manage tasks and responsibilities.
  • Communication Skills: Possess good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and guests.
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in Laundry is required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate good interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency, at intermediate level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
  • Customer Service: Committed to delivering a high level of customer service to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery.
