Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversees all financial areas including general accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensures thorough and timely preparation of financial reports, reviewing them to ensure compliance with financial standards and company requirements.
  • Maintains compliance with accounting regulations and internal procedures through good quality in daily accounting and month-end closing processes.
  • Supports the design and implementation of overall finance transformation initiatives.
  • Conducts required analysis to assist the CFO.
  • Handles issues and queries escalated by team leads, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Monitors work quality and escalates operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Covers external audit activities.
  • Monitors performance metrics and KPIs to assess the quality of services, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary changes.
  • Stays abreast of professional developments, new techniques, and current issues through continued education and professional growth.
  • Other financial-related duties include consulting with senior management and functional managers regarding financial-related activities, develop and implement financial controls, conduct financial reviews, prepare and analyze various financial reports, develop and monitor performance metrics for financial management, and other duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in all areas of accounting and finance.
  • 7+ years of experience as a team leader.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Experience with Finance / Accounting ERP systems.
  • Fluent English language skills at a business level.
  • Experience in the shipping and logistics industry is a plus.
