Key Responsibilities- Perform minor repairs and alterations to colleagues' uniforms, ensuring a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Repair and adjust curtains and draperies in the hotel, maintaining a clean and well-maintained environment.
- Maintain a daily log report detailing all repairs and alteration work carried out, providing valuable insights into the team's performance.
- Manage and report maintenance needs for sewing machines, communicate effectively with the Linen Room Supervisor.
- Uphold cleanliness and orderliness in the tailoring area, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of fabrics and materials in stock within the hotel.
- Address small alterations for Guest clothing, such as button replacements, as requested by the laundry.
- Highly skilled in tailoring and alteration techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
