Business Continuity Experts

We are seeking two skilled Business Continuity Experts to support our strategic client in Kuwait.

  • Job Summary: To play a vital role in enhancing the organization's resilience in line with ISO22301 and BCI Good Practice Guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document business continuity policies, programs, business impact analyses, crisis management plans, continuity strategies, threat and risk assessments.
  • Maintain and audit the business continuity management program.
  • Guide business continuity exercises and training sessions.
  • Manage awareness programs and improve business continuity software procedures.
  • Participate in IT disaster recovery exercises and planning.
  • Assist in business continuity-related aspects of requests for proposals and new projects.
  • Enhance IT major incident management protocols.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on IT disaster recovery environments.
  • Deliver guidance on compliance, risk management, and audits.
  • Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and compliance evidence.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in business continuity for Business Continuity Expert 1.
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience in business continuity for Business Continuity Expert 2.

Certifications and Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in IT, engineering, business, or banking is required.
  • CBCI (BCI Good Practice Guide Certification) and ISO22301 Lead Implementer are mandatory certifications.
  • ISO22301 Lead Auditor is preferred.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with business continuity software.
  • A strong understanding of IT systems, DR planning, and exercises.
  • Risk management, compliance, ITIL, and audit experience.
  • IT incident management capabilities.

Language:

  • Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
  • Preferrably Arabic language skills.

Personal Traits:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent planning, documentation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Analytical thinking with multi-tasking ability.
  • Able to manage end-to-end business continuity lifecycles independently and collaboratively.
