Overview
At Vectrus, we're committed to delivering exceptional services that meet the evolving needs of our clients. As an Operations Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely and effective management of material operations within our organization.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide general supervision and oversight to the Material Management Department Operations Section, driving efficiency and productivity in day-to-day activities.
• Collaborate closely with the Warehouse Manager to ensure seamless coordination between the Central Material Warehouse, Receiving, Material Control Section, and Clothing Issue Point supervisors.
• Analyze data and measure performance metrics to identify areas for improvement, ensuring compliance with PWS, MMAS, and PMS standards.
• Work in close collaboration with the Material Control Section Supervisor to monitor program expenditures and validate contractual requirements for every acquisition submitted by the program.
• Ensure all material deliveries are inspected in accordance with the Property Management System and validate receipts of services prior to approval of invoices.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to reduce/eliminate errors and improve risk mitigation within the Material Management Department Functional Sections.

Qualifications
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply/Inventory Management, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience at the team level or higher.
• Proven ability to evaluate operations and business functions, recommending improvements, modifications, and changes as needed.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide customer service and troubleshoot discrepancies and supply-related issues.
• High-level proficiency in MS Office and/or other related applications, with knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Working Conditions
The successful candidate must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions, with temperatures exceeding 120 degrees Fahrenheit. The indoor and outdoor environment is characterized by very adverse and harsh conditions, including hot, dry, desert environments with average temperatures of 30 degrees in the winter and 130 degrees in the summer months.
