Procurement Strategist

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Adnar Group as a Procurement Strategist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of goods ordered and received, as well as locating vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies. Your primary goal will be to assess present and future material availability, develop purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures, and ensure that all contracts and purchase orders conform to company policy.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received.
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment, or supplies and interview them to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.
• Develop and implement purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Analyze market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability.
• Review and evaluate specifications for issuing and awarding bids.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure. A strong understanding of the Food & Beverage industry and the Kuwait Market is essential, as is good spoken and written communication skills. Additionally, you should have experience with on-line purchasing systems and be proficient in mathematical calculations and budget management. Leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are also highly valued.
