Nursery Buyer and Planner

The Horticultural Procurement Specialist will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality horticultural products for our landscaping contracts and sales outlets. This includes building relationships with suppliers, determining product quality, and identifying new vendors to introduce new products in the market.

1. Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with organizational terms and conditions.
2. Product Sourcing: Identify and source new vendors for quality products to introduce new products in the market.
3. Contract Administration: Work with project managers to understand and know each contract's requirements and arrange all required items well in time from local sources or from international suppliers at competitive prices.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to understand market requirements, competitor's products and prices, and market trends.
5. Industry Insights: Stay updated with industry developments, attend trade shows and conferences, and network with industry professionals to stay informed about new products and technologies.
6. Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and make adjustments in pricing as needed to sell through seasonal products in a timely manner.

• Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar field.
• Education: Degree in horticulture, agriculture, or botany preferred.
• Knowledge and Skills: Advanced knowledge about ornamental plants and complete ranges of products related to horticulture, landscape, irrigation, and garden center.
• Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Time Management: Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid Driver's License: Valid Kuwait driver's license.
