As a Master HVAC Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of commercial and industrial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting HVAC systems, evaluating their condition, identifying repairs, and performing preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, and repacking system parts.
Key Responsibilities:- Track performance of routine and preventative maintenance to ensure HVAC system availability and troubleshoot complex HVAC/R problems requiring judgment.
- Respond to service calls and inspections, documenting issues using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Respond to emergency situations during and after hours to resolve issues, diagnosing causes of failures in HVAC systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain large commercial and industrial HVAC systems with complex problems.
- Perform recurring work on exhaust fans, boilers, air handlers, pumps, motors, and related HVAC equipment, including control systems.
- Install, modify, overhaul, repair, and maintain complex HVAC equipment and associated control systems.
- Collaborate with engineering/scientific personnel on plans, modifications, and user needs, reviewing plans and specifications.
- Perform design, maintenance, and repair of environmental and energy support systems within sensitive facilities, including computerized controls and air quality monitoring systems.
- Provide technical support for security-sensitive environments, ensuring system high availability and resolving electrical issues.
- Produce detailed technical documentation of findings and recommendations.
- Support emergency fault isolation of smoke removal, fire detection, and suppression systems in critical military facilities.
- Maintain complex electronic environmental systems, calibrate components, and monitor environmental conditions within SCIFs.
- Deploy worldwide in mobile environments, providing 24/7 technical support and rapid fault resolution.
- Respond to off-duty calls for critical outages, supporting ISR system performance and documenting system layouts.
- Support US Army systems on-site and deploy internationally for contingency missions, working in potentially hazardous environments.
- Able to maneuver in small spaces and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Bachelor's degree and three years of experience or equivalent education and experience totaling 10 years, with a valid Master HVAC license or equivalent military training/certification.
- Experience in fault isolation and resolution of tactical and strategic environmental systems.
- Ability to plan, install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment beyond manual schematics.
- At least 4 years' experience with HVAC control and monitoring systems.
- Experience with CMMS.
- Expertise in designing, installing, and maintaining computer-controlled environmental systems in mobile secure facilities.
- Meet US Government and industry standards for complex environmental and power systems.
- Possess or be able to obtain NATE certification.
- US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance.

Compensation:The salary range is $47,100 to $96,500, influenced by location, experience, skills, and certifications.
