Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct initial assessments, investigations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-ups for patients with neurological disorders.
  • Prescribe and administer therapies and medications as required, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
  • Discuss procedures and results with patients and caregivers in a clear and compassionate manner, addressing their concerns and needs.
  • Monitor patient progress and re-evaluate as needed to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Refer patients to specialists and collaborate with other physicians to provide integrated care.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and review junior staff notes to ensure effective communication.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within your scope of practice, adhering to established protocols.
  • Approve discharge summaries and medical reports to maintain accurate patient records, ensuring continuity of care.
  • Implement hospital policies, protocols, and clinical pathways to optimize patient care, improving quality and safety standards.
  • Participate in on-call duties and departmental coordination to ensure 24/7 coverage, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and availability.
  • Engage in clinical and academic activities to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurology, applying new knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
  • MBBS or equivalent plus specialty qualification, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skills in neurology.
  • PhD, Royal College, Fellowship, or Board certification (European, American, Canadian, or Arab), showcasing expertise and dedication to the field.
  • Minimum 20 years of experience, with at least 10 years post-qualification, highlighting a strong track record of success and leadership.
  • Willingness to relocate to Kuwait, adapting to new environments and challenges.
