Oil and Gas Rig Supervisor

The Rig Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the rig crew, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes coordinating with clients and transportation personnel for seamless rig movements.
Key Responsibilities- Crew Supervision: Direct and manage daily activities of the rig crew in accordance with client goals and company expectations;
- Safety Assurance: Ensure that safety protocols are followed, including the use of permit-to-work systems and HSE management tools;
- Relationship Development: Foster strong working relationships with operators, subcontractors, and other personnel on the rig;
- Regulatory Compliance: Participate in preventative and regulatory safety inspections and meetings as per the company's Target Zero Rules and Key Beliefs.
To excel in this role, applicants must possess:
- A minimum of ten (10) years of drilling industry experience in oil & gas well drilling;
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the present position;
- Proficiency in computer hardware and Microsoft Suite software;
- Fluency in written and spoken English;
- Excellent safety leadership skills;
- Effective communication skills at all levels;
- Experience in managing personnel and operations;
- Ability to influence people and build customer relationships.
