Gel Hydration Unit Technician

The Equipment Operator (LAS) role on our FRAC Vessel is a key position that requires maintaining safe, efficient, and reliable product and service delivery to Customers. The successful candidate will identify opportunities to improve service delivery, implement standard work practices, and manage risk during service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely job deliverables.
• Participate in pre-job meetings with crew members to discuss plans and objectives.
• Maintain equipment in good working order, reporting any problems or deviations from standards.
• Ensure individual and crew safety through adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times to minimize downtime.
• Operate equipment according to competency level and job requirements.
• Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and observe health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Stay up-to-date with required safety training to ensure compliance.
• The ideal candidate must have the legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working with Gel Hydration Units is required.
• Vessel, offshore, and adverse weather conditions experience is highly valued.
