Armament Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Armament Supervisor to lead our arms room operations in Kuwait. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and storage of small arms and accessories.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain Accountability: You will maintain full accountability of all weapons and devices stored in consolidated arms facilities, ensuring high standards of physical security and compliance with Army regulations.
• Supervise Repair Activities: You will supervise and provide guidance to all levels of repair personnel for military small arms maintenance, including planning work schedules and distributing tasks.
• Ensure Safety Standards: You will constantly monitor repair activities to ensure all procedures are performed safely, stopping any unsafe actions immediately.
• Provide Leadership: You will provide leadership and guidance consistent with departmental goals and objectives, accountable for assigned government-furnished equipment (GFE).
• Manage Supplies: You will be responsible for maintaining bench stocks and all supply actions for the storage, receipt, issue, and replenishment of equipment.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 7 years' experience in weapons repair and arms room storage operations, with at least 3 years supervisory responsibility.
• Certifications/Clearance: Secret NACLC Clearance required, with ability to obtain host country driver's license.
• Skills: Demonstrated supervisory skills, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, with one year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
